Margaret Macile "Mae" Hudson, 72, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at her home in Savannah.

Mrs. Hudson was born on December 26, 1935 in Hickory, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Walls; her mother and step-father, Eunice and Frank Johnson; son, Dwight Scott Hudson and brother, Howard Walls.

Mrs. Hudson worked as a seamstress for many years, ultimately becoming the co-owner of Hudson's Upholstery which she helped operate for twelve years before retiring in 1997.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Dwight C. Hudson; daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Winston Page and Brenda and Ronnie Murray; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sharon Hudson; grandchildren, Winston Page, Jr. Rebecca, Christopher Page Tara, Crystal Bailey, Fushia Robinson Brent, Heather Murray and Ross Hudson Brooke; great-grandchildren, Evan and Lauren Page, Michael and MacKenzie Hudson, Taylor and Hunter Robinson and Will Bailey.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim, GA officiated by Bobby Ledford.

Pallbearers: Tommy Brady, Winton Page, Jimmy Hudson, Josh Ledford, Randy Kiser and Jon Watson.
